My Story

For over 20 years, I’ve exclusively lived in El Dorado County District 4, in the close-knit communities of Rescue and Shingle Springs.  As a mother and grandmother, I’m running for District 4 Supervisor to help protect what we love and ensure our community remains a great place for generations to come by bringing common sense government back to our County.

Leadership with Integrity and Experience

With over 40 years of business and executive leadership experience, I know how to manage complex operations, lead diverse teams, and deliver results.  I’ve helped both corporations and small businesses exceed their goals while delivering exceptional customer service.

I also served two terms on the El Dorado County’s Civil Grand Jury (2021–23), resulting in recommendations that led to improvements in key County operations, addressing:

  • Staffing and fair employee compensation

  • Fire safety and vegetation management

  • Planning and Building permitting processes

  • Lighting and landscaping assessments in El Dorado Hills - leading to over $3 million in disputed taxes being withheld pending legal resolution

Protecting What Matters Most

Our County is facing tough times - budget shortfalls, ongoing lawsuits, and pressure on essential services such as our roads and water.  I’m ready to step in and advocate for:

  • Balanced, transparent budgeting

  • Smarter tax revenue strategies that won’t overburden taxpayers

  • Responsible land use and development

  • Remove barriers for businesses

Just as important, I’m committed to preserving the rural beauty and character of our County.  This is what makes El Dorado County unique - and worth protecting.

Standing Up for Fire Safety and Insurance Relief

When the home insurance crisis hit our area, I took action.  In 2022, I founded the Sierrama Firewise Community to help my neighbors reduce wildfire risk and qualify for insurance discounts.  I continue to work with state leaders - including the California Department of  Insurance - to push for real, lasting reform.

Rooted in Community, Ready to Serve

After earning my degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, I moved to California with $300 and a dream.  I then went on to receive an MBA from Santa Clara University.  That journey eventually led me here - to a place I’ve grown to love and a community I’m proud to defend.

I look forward to meeting you throughout the campaign and answering your questions.  Most of all, I promise to listen and to be your advocate.  And I will never forget that I work for you.

Thank you for the opportunity to earn your trust - and your vote!
