My Story

For over 20 years, I’ve proudly lived in El Dorado County District 4, in Rescue and Shingle Springs. As a mother and grandmother, I’m running for Supervisor to protect what we love, preserve our rural communities, and bring common sense back to county government for future generations.

Leadership with Integrity and Experience

With over 40 years of business and executive leadership experience,working for Hewlett-Packard, Oracle and several startups,  I know how to lead teams, manage complex operations, and deliver results for both corporations and small businesses.​

 

I served two terms on El Dorado County’s Civil Grand Jury (2021–23), helping drive improvements in staffing, fire safety, permitting processes, and lighting and landscaping assessments that led to over $3 million in disputed taxes being withheld pending legal resolution.

 

Protecting What Matters Most​

Our County faces budget shortfalls, lawsuits, and pressure on essential services. I’ll fight for transparent budgeting, smarter revenue strategies, responsible growth, and fewer barriers for businesses — while protecting the rural character that makes El Dorado County special.

 

Standing Up for Fire Safety and Insurance Relief

When the home insurance crisis hit, I took action by founding the Sierrama Firewise Community in 2022 to help neighbors reduce wildfire risk and qualify for insurance discounts. I will continue working with state leaders to push for lasting reform.

Rooted in Community, Ready to Serve

After earning a Computer Science degree from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Santa Clara University, I moved to California with $300 and a dream. That journey led me to the community I’m proud to call home and fight for.
