Protect
Our General Plan is the County’s blueprint for the future, and the community’s voice must remain at the center of every land-use decision. The intent and integrity of our voter-approved General Plan must be upheld and never set aside to benefit special interests.
Keeping El Dorado County one of the safest places in California means ensuring both law enforcement and our fire agencies have the backing and support they need to protect our communities.
The homeowner insurance crisis, with double-digit annual increases, is devastating our communities. More must be done at the at the local level. County defensible space programs must continue to be supported and protected to help homeowners reduce wildfire risk, strengthen community resilience, and make neighborhoods safer.

At the state level, El Dorado County needs continued advocacy for solutions that reflect our unique wildfire risks, including options such as offering wildfire coverage separately, similar to flood or earthquake insurance.
Preserve
Development should not get a green light and a blank check to special interests. Infrastructure and community impact studies must be a priority.
Continue the work to help local farms, ranches and wineries to discover new new opportunities to stay economically viable, while looking at county ordinances to streamline processes.
Work with Planning and Building on clear service standards, whether building a home, adding an accessory dwelling unit, or applying for a conditional use permit. Address processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to the General Plan.
Promote
Small businesses are the heart of our communities and an important part of our local economy. It needs to be easier to start, grow, and operate a business in El Dorado County by reducing unnecessary red tape, improving permitting, and creating a county government that is responsive, efficient, and supportive of local entrepreneurs.
Tourism brings important revenue to El Dorado County. Promote responsible tourism that highlights our unique communities, agriculture, history, recreation, and natural beauty while protecting our unique character and quality of life that makes our County special.
Our employees are the backbone of our County. They are on the front lines. Our county priorities should be to support employees to enhance their productivity, job satisfaction by streamlining internal processes.

As a mother, grandmother, and El Dorado County resident of over 2 decades, I'm running because District 4 is where my family put down roots. It must be protected for future generations.

I came to California after graduating from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science. I later earned my MBA from Santa Clara University.

Business and executive leadership
I led teams and complex operations at Hewlett-Packard, Oracle, and several startups.
2021–2023
Two terms on the El Dorado County Civil Grand Jury
Investigated staffing levels, employee compensation, fire safety and permitting; producing findings and recommendations to help governing agencies take action.
 2022
Founder of the Sierrama Firewise Community
This process helped my neighborhood cut wildfire risk and qualify for home owners insurance discounts.
Today
Running for District 4 Supervisor
If elected, I will fight for transparent budgeting, responsible growth, and protecting our way of life.
